TO:  ALL MORGAN HILL HOMEOWNERS
As you may be aware, on Friday, April 7, 2017, Governor Jerry Brown issued an Executive Order (B-40-17) ending his previous Declaration of Drought.  For homeowners, this means they are now again responsible to ensure that any and all natural lawns (grass) are being properly watered so as to not have any brown lawn.
The Governor’s Executive Order continues to prohibit these practices:
·        Hosing off sidewalks, driveways and other hardscape
·        Washing automobiles with hoses that do not have a shut-off nozzle
·        Using non-recirculated water in fountains and decorative water features
·        Watering lawns in a manner that causes runoff
·        Watering lawns within 48 hours of measurable precipitation

TO:  All Morgan Hill Homeowners
We want everyone to be aware that since the first of the year, and prior to today, there were four cluster mail boxes broken into within Morgan Hill.  We have had discussions with the local Sheriffs Department on this subject, however, they say there is little that Associations can do to prevent this type of occurrence from happening.  Even the use of nightly patrols has not slowed this problem in other communities.  The best recommendation is for everyone to pick up their mail on a daily basis so that there is nothing for thieves to find.  Regretfully, we must inform you that twelve more cluster mail boxes were broken into between Wednesday evening (3/8) and Thursday morning (3/9).  The cost of replacing all of the mail boxes will exceed $22,000.

We ask that if you see anything suspicious that you report it to law enforcement immediately, and that you pick up your mail on a daily basis.

Your Board of Directors
